I am more than likely going to do something similar. I bought the full harness to have everything wired for changes down the line, like adding heat/ac back. I'm also leaning towards making an aluminum dash since my factory one is cracked to hell and nobody makes factory replacements.

In @Brett_408 thread, he mentioned the Harris cage was $4k. The Harris cage definitely looks great with tight clearances, no doubt it's worth the money. Just depends on everyone's budget.

My plan is to run the cage from TE Designs. For the cost, it seems like a no brainer compared to the other ones in the market. However, due to the nature of their cage, the labor will be more if you're hiring a shop to install it. But like Tree Trunk said, it depends on what your situation...

I have the Solo engine cage/mount and was able to cycle 14.5" on stock width beams with a 12" shock before the passenger axle rubs the beam.

I'm in the same boat. Wish I got the Giant 64 kit from the get go instead of going spring over.

Thinking about going down the LS rabbit hole, so my stock drivetrain will be up for grabs. Prices are obo 351w - Runs but leaks a bit from the rear main seal, but comes with new valve covers, fresh plugs, Headman long tube headers, new water pump, and a new 3g alternator with painless wire...

Here's a couple for you. I will update on how it's running once I have time to get it out of the garage.

It's up and running. Starts with ease unlike when I hard the carb. I need to take the time to drive it around for it to do the self-tuning to smooth it out. I've driven it around the block once, onto a trailer and in the garage.

The BFG tires are a 37x12.5r17. The other tires are just stock sized that I use to move the bronco in and out of the garage.

Finally got around to having the Solo engine cage installed and Radflo shocks hung. One step closer to the desert.
