Since you love my back half so much, I’ll let you copy something off it. Up the link, 180 back up the chassis where the fuel vent meets, and ran together to over the rear axle. You also have to leave one zip tie uncut, as you can see.

If it does, you could make the rack pivot off the rear seat tube behind the seats with an air strut and have this lift up to access spare or stuff underneath.
Leave it leafed. You’ll have much more drive time and fun times making memories and trips, opposed to miserable and not fun times putting it together in your driveway while cursing yourself for doing this.
