well it’s finally done I think I like the ride height I might go up on more turn but overall I’m pretty stoke been a pretty sick journey 7 weeks in total from the day she went in the garage to the day she came out. I get my alignment done tomorrow and then some desert runs coming soon can’t wait...
Got her sitting on all 4s again. Just need to bleed the brakes, weld in the limit strap mounts, weld in the reservoir mounts and put the coolant/windshield wiper fluid reservoir back inand an alignment. Man has this been a learning experience and great practice for when I build the 88 bronco.
Got the coilovers in and everything tightened down. Filled the shocks to 200 psi with nitro gonna set ride height tonight and put it all back together tonight hopefully be standing on her own. Just got a few small things left to do but we are pretty much there so pumped and can’t wait to drive it.
Cross member is done for now will be throwing in gussets next weekend but for now this how she gonna be. Ima start bolting everything on tonight and get her on her now weight. The stoke is real 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
Here we go boys took all the advice I grinded out the old welds on the frame plates and my buddy re welded them for me also got the towers all boxed in now I just gotta build the cross member and get that welded in and start bolting it all back together!!!! Getting that much closer I can taste...
This is what i came up with. Passenger side is done gonna finish up driver side tonight and hopefully have the shock towers cross brace that goes over the engine all done by tomorrow so come Wednesday o can burn it all in and start bolting the kit back together and get this thing out of the garage
