I semi used the magic number for locating the upper shackle mount on the 12” shackle but also did the 90 degrees at full droop. I even loosened the bolts so they weren’t impact tight on the springs and shackles. The bed is empty and I don’t have the bumper, bed rack or spares in the bed yet...

Mine handled the weight being an 11’6” model but the bags took the sway out of it making it handle better on the great california highways. The hitch system is crazy expensive, I just made a 40” extension to flat tow my jeep since I couldn’t afford the $2k tow system.
