ive snapped the aluminum arms and hollow bars meant for stock cars they dont seem to be up to the rigors of offroad from my experiences

I got year or so out of a spring it was on my rock crawler and I would kill a main leaf every year and would refinish them probably a season of the paint job being effective

I like to use appliance enamel, and while its wet cover it with graphite spray, you can find it in the hardware store for locks, it soaks into the paint and helps make it a little more slippery. make sure you let it dry for a while before reassembly
