Carbon has come a long way. Two years ago we brought 6 or so pair of new Carbon bypasses out to JV for our annual DTX meet-up, and EVERY one of them puked their guts either right out of the box, or within a few mins on the trucks. He ended up making some big changes and buckled down...
I think resi placement under the hood is creating a bunch of heat too. The new fronts have "HEC" (Carbon version of finned" resis. Plus I would think a threaded body coilover helps with dissipate heat better than a smooth body.
We will see! Not a ton of area to put a resi outside of the engine...
