Did you guys all give up riding? I rode Bonelli (the backside by the 10) today. I saw them name a new Pope and found tons of Prickly Pear.

I bet there are a ton of Tarantulas. I see them every fall at Bonelli, usually just 1 or 2 at a time, but once, like 20 years ago, I saw one of the roads in the park heading down toward Pomona covered in Tarantulas....like 30, 40, 50. So, there are a bunch of them.

Rode Bonelli Park - There is a steep rock garden with waterfalls on the backside (Pomona) of the park. I also spotted a Tarantula looking for a Friday night date. Did around 8 miles in a little over an hour. Coming up the backside of Bonelli was essentially me on a hike with my bike.

Going back to the original post, the most interesting part of the entire "No Kings" day was a flyer that had a meetup location for ex-pats and supporters of anti-Trump administration policies, etc, wait for it... in England, yes, the England with a Monarchy.

Is there anyone out this way, San Dimas, Glendora, La Verne, Pomona, Western IE that wants to meet up for rides in the evenings? I currently ride the same two places over and over again because they are close....so I'm up for trails other than Marshall Canyon and Bonelli Park. My bike is an...

Marshall Canyon. It looks like we're experiencing a bit of hipster gentrification on the trails.

I just found out through Specialized that they give a discount to quite a few groups. I'm sure some of you qualify....It looks like it ranges from like 10% to 30%, so YMMV. I don't shop too much on their site, since the bro in law works for them, but I stumbled upon this a few days ago and...

Did another Bonelli Park ride and found a tent at the top of a trail. It wasn't well camouflaged, but I didn't feel like possibly dealing with the occupant while half dead from the climb, so I made it to about that middle power pole, saw the tent, and turned around for some downhill action.

Yeah, I enjoy it in the summer. I'm not a fan of snow, so we never head up if there's snow, snowboarders, or skiers on the mountain.

We left on the 5th, so traffic was still coming into the area as we were leaving. So, there was little to no traffic for us heading down toward the 210.

It was chill as can be. Especially the night of the 4th. There was one big group at the back .....and they shut up right at 10pm. I'd do it again.
