Swapped out the fox bumps up front for some sway-a-ways
truck is all shwayed out now
fox bumps probably gonna end up on the front of the grocery runner since it has all fox shocks, would really help the front end at bump with the old school dual smoothies and torsion bars

Modified the spare tire carrier / fuel cell lid to make the bed more usable
Tire mount is quickly removable if I need the room in the bed
Really happy with how the rear of the truck is coming together
Current fab work is mostly done / painted and the truck is back together
Changed up the bedcage shock mounts so I could put a pit bike or other kind of two wheel device in the bed
Going to make some aluminum fill panels for the open taillight area to finish off the rear
Working on paneling in the “bed”
Really like how it’s turning out
All hand cut with a cut off wheel
Material sure ain’t getting any cheaper

Couple little updates
Bought new seats for my 89 so I made mounts and put the old seats in the 87
Tied the bumper into the bottom of the fuel tank cradle and finished up the gas struts for fuel/tank access
Maybe, kinda like staying in town up north here lately
I do want to take the 89 yota out to Barstow / Lucerne at some point, gotta get a trailer setup
Ski / snowboard season in Mammoth / Tahoe is off to a good start right now so thats my top priority, ha
Little more bumper work front and rear
The stock 2wd front bumper did not line up with the fiberglass fenders outer body lines
The plastic caps look ok, might change it up later

Did a lot of work making all the suspension pivots super strong front and rear and a lot of time on shock valving
The V8 and weight over the back end was a magic combo

It’s just a pice of 1/4 plate that I drilled a hole in the middle and spot/rosette welded to the top of the bolt head
BUT I was using it to tighten the bolt and it kept breaking the weld so now I cut a hex pad that is spot welded to the head of the bolt and welded on the bottom side and no...
