been around camburg alot in my years. I dunno 100% but they have been working on shocks starting with jasons dune buggy for over 10 years it feels like.
Pretty sure their shocks are their own work arounds, their own take on a shock but not 100% sure everything is completely their own design...
Well i do need wheel bearing kits for this housing does yotamasters have them in stock? I think i looked and it said not in stock so i was going to order stuff through yotashop. its for A 1996 4runner
this is a very good idea, i think i have lexan i could use.
im holding out hope that @BFAB Brian has the 8" diff face plate file or soemthing in his collection of parts, files and knowledge base since it doesnt seem like this is a very common want and trailgear isnt being to helpful even though they make 8" fabricated axle housings.
Or i just go cheap...
I sent ECGS an email this morning. See what they say or if they have anything to recommend. I also emailed trail gear since they make a fabricated 8" housing maybe they can supply me with something since they already cut out the face plate for their axle housings.
Anyone know where I can find the stud pattern template to use to create a block off plate?
I have a spare rear end im wanting to sand blast and I’d like to get a block off plate for the diff hole. I did this when I had a ford 9” housing sand blasted and it worked great I siliconed the plate...
Can anyone print me up a prototype of a tool i think i want tomake to help install axle seals? I have a simple hand drawn drawing of it and wanting to see if all the dimensions work before i have it machined.
its in Anza, Ca. google to Cahuilla creek Indian casino for a pretty accurate location. No wmatter which way you come the last hour of driving minimum will be on a two lane highway.
ive thought about this way more than i should have over the last 15 years. Just have not done it. need to get my one 4runner out of the way you saw at the house scrapped out then this might be what ends up happening.
I do not have any needs, i just want to have something usable using at a minimum the upper spindle pin and the lower clevis. the lower arms are what ever if it was easier to design doing something different.
What really matters to me is having the budget to pay someone i trust or who comes...
Anyone dable in suspension design? I have some questions about what it would take to design suspension using parts I have drawings for and machined up already and also some lower control arms I have for an S10 chassis.
Wanting to get a kit designed using parts I have.
