Made some room for the coyote in the engine bay this evening. Fired up the old plasma cutter and cut out the gear box and old engine mounts to get it ready to sit the coyote and 6r80 in the engine bay!
Started welding in the axle so far the face plate is in place and burned to the axle tubes. I started burning the back of it on I do 2 welds per side then let it cool 100%. I do 2 welds a day on it. That way I keep it as straight as I can. It currently sits at 72” tube end to tube end I will...
This evening I spent some time working on my son’s math. What better way to learn math by machining some parts to finally start building the axle for the bronco!
Waiting on a new rear axle housing for this. Going to be building a full float 9” the same width as my front. Next on my list of parts is a set of trailing arms and coil overs.
my father and I have been out enjoying our projects. But a bunch of miles and been to a bunch of car shows with my truck and his coyote powered bronco.
Ordered some coyote motor mounts and some link mounts for the rear. And a few other parts. Hopefully have a nice pile of parts soon. Hopefully they will all be here so when I get the pins out of my hand. I can work on it.
Hopefully I will be getting back to work on this soon. Just about have my wife’s Bronco ready so it Looks like I will be pulling the q80’s and linking this one. I want to do it once and be done. I’m taking my time and enjoying the process. Right now I will start getting a parts list and watching...
Well I put the old girl to work a couple week ago. She hauled our toys to silver lake and back and was hooked to the trailer for 10 days I also added a new truck to my fleet. This is only half my vehicles lol.

Well the old girl got about 400 miles on it this weekend. I drove it to our cabin and back. It did great! 75 on the way up and I pushed it a little harder on the way home at 80-85 on the way home my egts were around 430 * I’m am extremely happy with how it drives. Rides as good as my 2010 f250...
