Can someone verify these will work?

The Fox 2.0 shock bolt spacers have an OD of 11/16" and ID 1/2". Looks like my temporary trail fix is the permanent solution. I'll just use the two stepped bushings I have up top to keep the tie rod mounting points the same and slide the shocks spacers into the bottom.

Can someone verify these will work?

The part essentially reduces the hole in the spindle from 11/16" to 1/2".

Can someone verify these will work?

I need a pair of stepped bushings for the tie rod to spindle connection for my buggy. This is the closest one I could find. My concern is if there is enough engagement in the spindle with the small step width only being .08". Does anybody know where else I could look for this part? Should I...

Smoke 'em if you've got 'em

I've smoked a couple pork shoulders now, the first one shredded better than the second, any suggestions on what may have been the issue? First one reached 201, second 194 (recorded temperature according to Meater thermometer, Traeger probe showed 204). First one was a wet brine, second was a...

    Let’s talk tires

Yea, what sold me was a rookie mistake at Pismo towing around a 10K pound fifth wheel. I aired up to 80 lbs before hitting asphalt and followed my buddy who picked a bad line through soft sand instead of the line that was compact from everybody coming and going. Just had to keep the foot down...

The TK-980 doesn't operate in the correct frequency range and the TK-8180s are a UHF radio, not compatible. You need a VHF radio that operates in the 136 to 174 MHz range. This is based on my limited knowledge of radios. I think @SteveG can chime in with more technically accurate info.

    What to pack? Tips-tricks

I think the kinetic ropes also have an advantage with a smaller vehicle getting a larger vehicle un-stuck. Watch a couple Matt's offroad recovery videos and he'll get full size trucks out with his XJ. He also uses soft shackles for everything, so I would think they're safe.

I have the Yokohama Geolanders on my super duty tow pig. They have good on and off road manners but they are starting to chunk after 5 years and 20K miles, mostly towing miles.

What's the model number? I like to nerd out on this kind of stuff and can research it for you. I just did this with an old Vertex radio.

Awesome work, all of it! Oh man, I'd be so pissed if my new motor failed because of an over site from a builder, good on you for pushing through. I really like the contrast between the white body and the carbon panels. Kind of works with the contrast of the old body and the new shiny parts.
