sitting on its own almost in the rear. (No pre load) Crazy to see the progression in tire sizes over the years. Everyone would shoot for 37’s you were cooking with gas if you could tuck 39s and now 40’s are the norm on most full builds these days.
Today’s progress… rear springs and shocks installed , plumbing the power steering system and installed ram assist on the swing steer, DC power 370 amp alternator installed in there nicely. And worked on upper and lower control arms. Waiting for front springs since their spring rate was too soft...
Stainless mesh and panels assembled and bolted up. Started front ready to get this back on its wheels and button up the cab so I can get it off to electrical.
Yeah I wanted to mount it in the cab for security but I think it’s in a good space and will help with weight distribution on Left and Right side of the truck. I’m not racing the truck so it does not have to come off quick. I can also put anti thief hardware on there later down the road.
Quick turn around on line - x. Time to re install fuel cell and mount all the aluminum panels for the last time in the rear and get the back all buttoned up…
