Finished my 78 12v swap right in time for KOH and to camp with the boys aka Wally and crew

Finally got back on my 78 over the weekend, mounted the motor, trans, and divorced t-case. Taking the drivelines in tomorrow to have them built for the new setup.

Wild, I didn’t not know that it was on air shocks before. The job was daunting as it has tubes everywhere haha. I turned it down a few times and they finally offered me the Dixon class 7 truck as part payment, I figured I couldn’t pass up owning another old ford that I didn’t need 🤷🏼‍♂️🤦🏼‍♂️

I kinda like old fords,,, they look cool and break a lot so it’s job security 😂

Yes it is , we cut the entire cabin area cage out and updated it to 2” so it would pass current tech.

I’ll try to update this as we do actually work and post some mid proses pics and how we do stuff pics that might help someone with their own build. So here is to the new hip version of DR 🕺🏼
