Dont get hooked on load rating. Look at rhe load index and use that as your comparison. Far more accurate way to compare tires and verify it will hold the weight you want
When i get home tonoght, ill look and see how i wired mine. I intercepted the input signal to the ecm and let the dakota change it from there for output to ecm/gauge. Mine uses a single input but banches/spliced in so one feeds ecm and other feeds gauge

Thats rad. Wish it wasnt a 6 hour drive for me. Ive ran those sections a few times in my rig prerunning for the cali 300. Its fun shit! Theres way rougher spots, what you guys picked is far better.
