Haven’t made any real progress on the car unfortunately life’s been busy but I did throw the wheels and tires on the car just to keep the vision alive while I’m in the parts piling stage

Parts pile update. Got the tires mounted on some fuel 17x9 wheels. Also stumbled across a correct width and bolt pattern 9 inch so going to go with that over the 8.8 I originally planned on using. Just need the transfer case and front axle now

At the moment no. But I bet that changes if I end up pulling the motor during the 4x4 swap

Still going to be staying the original om617 diesel. Doomsday diesel makes an adapter kit to fit up to the turbo 400 series transmissions. Basically the only thing staying Mercedes is the motor and the body panels.
